If you are a small business owner you should definitely try marketing your business with direct mail postcards.
Before mailing your postcards make sure to have selected the right prospect list. If you send your postcard mailing to people who are not interested in what you have to offer you may not get the desired results you expect.

Make your postcard design standout and speak to an individual by being personal. 
Postcards are far more effective than letters because people who receive letters in the mail usually don't even open the envelope. If you mail your postcard to the correct prospect list, 
your message is easily read without having to open a letter, making chances of success 
much higher.

People hold onto postcards, especially when the postcard is creatively designed, or has a clever or funny message. Some people even hang postcards on their refrigerator or walls.
